After much anticipation, extensive planning and laborious coordination with various architects and relevant authorities since 2014, a well thought out design for the AlHuda International School’s (AIS), H-11 campus, Islamabad has been approved Alhamdulillah. We are now ready to initiate the construction phase.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held on 10th December 2015 at the H-11 plot amidst a pleasant drizzle to mark this momentous milestone. The ceremony was a reminder that AIS is closer to achieving its vision ‘Qur’an for All; in every hand; in very heart’.
Dr. Idrees Zubair, Dr. Farhat Hashmi as well as senior staff members of Al-Huda Institute and AIS graced the ceremony. Representatives of contractors and well wishers were also amongst the attendees.
Director AIS, Mr. Atif Iqbal, gave a formal welcome and a brief overview of the H-11 project. He informed the audience about the salient features of the new campus. He took the opportunity to thank the relevant stakeholders for their unwavering support to this noble cause, thus making it possible to initiate the project, estimated at around PKR 380 Million.
The attendees were given further details on various aspects of the H-11 project through layouts, elevations and other such materials that were displayed around the area. The air was filled with excitement and there was renewed passion to help with this cause for the sake of Allah (swt). There was a common consensus that there is a dire need for a state-of-the-art educational facility, which is bigger and better than existing arrangements. The enthusiasm of the audience was remarkable mashaAllah.
Dr. Idrees Zubair carried out the official groundbreaking, and a dua was made for the Project’s success. May the AIS, H-11 campus become a trendsetter in providing the very best education based on Islamic morals and values for institutes within Pakistan and abroad. May Allah (swt) help us accomplish this project within the set timeline and make this a great sadqa-e- jariya for each and every person who contributed towards it in any way. Ameen.
